Spin Clean Record Washer MKII
Posted by All Good Clean Records 11.05.2014
The Spin Clean Record Washer gets records clean, is easy to use and doesn't cost a fortune. Spin-Clean also takes the effort out of cleaning records, the brushes scrub both sides of the record simultaneously, rollers in the tank keep records safe from damage and the fluid pulls dirt off the record and down to the bottom of the tank. Quick, easy and reasonably priced, now there's no reason not to clean every record in your collection.

- If you don't want to pay £400-£1000 for a record cleaning machine then the Spin Clean Record Washer MKII is the next best thing. At first I was a bit disappointed when opening the box to find that £78 had bought what amounts to a bright yellow plastic box, some cleaning brushes, small bottle of cleaning fluid and some drying cloths.
But once you start using it you soon realise how good an investment this is, especially if you own hundreds/thousands of vinyl records.
- I have recently got back into vinyl after several years listening to digital music. Most of my vinyl is 35 to 40 years old and whilst generally well cared for it is not pristine. Having read reviews of the Spin Clean, I took the plunge and bought one. This morning I tried it for the first time.
I used distilled water and the supplied solution and followed the instructions to the letter. I am currently listening to a 35 year old copy of Tubular Bells through headphones and WOW! The music sounds crisper, clearer and more defined and many of the hisses, clicks and pops have gone. I have read about increased static and white residue following use of Spin Clean in some reviews - this has not occurred to me.
This is a great product for the money - highly recommended.
